1. Introduction

Welcome to Crib (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
Crib is a secure online marketplace facilitating e-commerce, services, and real estate transactions through a controlled escrow payment system that protects both buyers and sellers.

By accessing or using Crib, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the platform.

2. Platform Structure

Crib operates under two (2) listing categories:

  1. Third-Party Vendor Listings

  2. Crib Official Listings (labeled “Crib Admin” or “Official Store”)

All listings on Crib operate under the platform’s escrow and buyer-protection rules unless otherwise stated.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

  • Users must be 18 years or older

  • All account information must be accurate and current

  • Vendors must complete verification before listing

  • Crib reserves the right to approve, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts at its discretion

4. Crib as Escrow Authority

Crib acts as a neutral escrow intermediary for all transactions.

Crib:

  • Securely receives buyer payments

  • Holds funds during transaction fulfillment

  • Releases funds only after required conditions are met

  • Does not permit off-platform payments

5. Crib Official Listings (Crib Admin / Official Store)

Crib operates its own verified listings, clearly marked as:

  • “Crib Admin”

  • “Official Store”

These listings are:

  • Owned and managed directly by Crib

  • Subject to the same escrow, delivery, inspection, and refund policies

  • Accessible via the Official Store page on the website

6. Payments & Wallet System

6.1 Buyer Payments

  • All payments are completed at checkout

  • Payments are not marked as “pending”

  • Funds are held securely under Crib’s escrow system

6.2 Seller Wallet Visibility

  • After a successful purchase, sellers can see funds in their wallet

  • Wallet visibility does not mean funds are withdrawable

  • Withdrawal requests require approval

6.3 Fund Release Conditions

Funds are released to sellers only when:
✔ Buyer confirms receipt or completion
✔ Crib verifies transaction fulfillment
✔ Any inspection or protection period concludes

Failure to meet these conditions results in withheld funds.

7. Seller Obligations & Proof Requirements

7.1 General Seller Responsibilities

Sellers must:

  • Accurately describe listed items or properties

  • Deliver exactly what is advertised

  • Communicate transparently

  • Comply with all platform rules

7.2 Proof of Ownership or Authorization (Mandatory)

For real estate and high-value listings, sellers are required to upload valid proof, including but not limited to:

  • Proof of ownership (e.g. title documents, deed, allocation papers)

  • Written authorization to sell, lease, or rent

  • Power of attorney or agency agreement (where applicable)

Crib reserves the right to:

  • Verify submitted documents

  • Reject or remove listings without sufficient proof

  • Suspend seller accounts for false or misleading documentation

8. Real Estate Transactions & Inspection

8.1 Listing Requirements

Real estate vendors must clearly state:

  • Whether the property is for sale, rent, or lease

  • Pricing, duration, and conditions

  • Accurate images and descriptions

8.2 Inspection & Verification

Crib may:

  • Conduct inspections (physical or document-based)

  • Verify property details

  • Delay fund release until buyer confirmation

This ensures buyers receive exactly what was advertised.

9. Refund Policy

9.1 Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be approved when:

  • Item or property does not match description

  • Seller fails to deliver

  • Fraud or misrepresentation is proven

  • Inspection fails (especially for real estate)

9.2 Refund Process

  • Buyer must raise a dispute within the allowed timeframe

  • Crib reviews all submitted evidence

  • Funds remain in escrow during review

  • Approved refunds are returned to the buyer’s original payment method or wallet

9.3 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds may be denied if:

  • Buyer confirms receipt/completion

  • Buyer provides false claims

  • Transaction is completed successfully

10. Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers must:

  • Review listings carefully

  • Communicate through the platform

  • Confirm delivery only after satisfaction

  • Avoid off-platform arrangements

11. Disputes & Resolution

  • Disputes must be raised before confirmation

  • Crib reviews all evidence impartially

  • Crib’s decision on fund release or refund is final

  • Abuse of the dispute system may result in penalties

12. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Bypass escrow payments

  • Submit false documents

  • Misrepresent listings

  • Engage in fraudulent or deceptive behavior

13. Fees & Charges

Crib may apply:

  • Transaction fees

  • Service fees

  • Withdrawal processing fees

All fees are disclosed before payment.

14. Account Suspension & Termination

Crib reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate accounts

  • Withhold funds during investigations

  • Remove listings that violate policies

15. Limitation of Liability

Crib’s liability is limited to escrowed funds and does not extend to losses caused by user negligence or off-platform actions.

16. Modifications

Crib may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
